location photography services

A well taken shot with the right composition, light and exposure can help give an impression of quality and professionalism to your customers. I have a broad experience of photographing outdoor and indoor locations, not just landscapes, but factory environments, hotel rooms and buildings, each with unique challenges and opportunities.

In addition to shooting stills, I can also provide more interactive options, including 360 degree virtual tours and time lapse photography. Time lapse can help create an impression of energy and activity whereas virtual tours immerse your online visitors in a location and show them the scene from every angle.

Examples of recent work include:

virtual tours - cem engineering

CEM commissioned a virtual factory tour to help them illustrate their manufacturing capability to potential clients. The tour consisted of linked 360 degree views, with 'hotspots' to details of individual machines.

Virtual tours are also ideal for illustrating hotel rooms and office spaces to potential customers.

hotel photography - walworth castle

Walworth Castle is a historic castle hotel, west of Darlington in County Durham with some unique rooms, full of character.

I provided a range of photographs for their web site including bedrooms, reception area, restaurants and seasonal autumn shots of the hotel exterior.

industrial processes - permoid industries

Permoid were looking for shots to illustrate the manufacturing process of a new product. A number of the photographs involved balancing challenging ambient light in the factory with bright light sources from welding processes, such as in this shot of a robot welder.

product photography - bigto

Bigto required a number of product photographs to illustrate a their website. These are from a range of exhibition-standard models to be exhibited at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show. The photography had to be completed in a very tight window before they were shipped to the end client but it was still possible to fit in a set of product shots plus some creative options.

Most of the work for Bigto was completed on site using portable studio equipment.

magazines and books

A number of my landscape photographs have been used in popular photography magazines and other publications over the last few years and I'm always happy to discuss both licencing existing images and commissions.

Examples include use of shots to illustrate a section of the Book 'Walk Britain's Great Views' and technique articles with supporting shots for Digital SLR Photography Magazine.

pricing

I always aim to quote a fair price for a well executed, good quality job. Every customer and subject is different but a simple discussion of requirements is usually all that's needed. Under most circumstances I can provide a simple fixed price for a job, including all expenses, processing time and a simple licence to use the images produced as you require.

A background of dealing with a wide range of businesses and clients, backed by online marketing experience, means I can quickly get to grips with your business needs and advise on the right shots to support your marketing efforts. In short, I try to make the whole process as simple as possible.

web development services

If you require web development services to help you make use of your new images or virtual tour on your website, I can supply a full service via my software and web development company, Actuance. Equally, I can easily work with you or your existing web developer to provide images in the best format for your project.
