twisleton star trails
yorkshire dales
Taken as a single 33 minute exposure, around 90 minutes after sunset, at Twisleton Scar, near Ingleton in the Yorkshire Dales.
Although the scene was completely dark to the naked eye, there was enough light from a new moon to the left, the last remnants of the sunset and the distant glow of surrounding villages to light the foreground during the long exposure.
