I'd visited this local landmark repeatedly over a week or so during a cold spell, hoping to catch some early light on Roseberry Topping but each time finding a layer of cloud sitting to the east blocking the sunrise. Eventually though, on the last visit I got the light I needed and as if to reward the waiting, a light frost and good sky arrived to finish off the shot.
